Every child grows and learns differently, especially when they’ve experienced trauma. This training offers an engaging look at child development stages, presented by our local child advocacy center. CASA volunteers will explore what typical development looks like, how trauma can affect it, and how to use this knowledge during visits, conversations, and court reports. The session equips volunteers with confidence to understand children’s behaviors and advocate for the supports that help them thrive.
