Drug Endangered Children (DEC) Academy 101: Developing Foundational Knowledge

  • Spring Hill Suites 551 Southwest Industrial Way Bend, OR, 97702 (map)

Children are impacted on a daily basis by their parents or caregivers’ substance misuse; often these children are the first impacted and the last ones to be identified and to receive services.

This two-day academy will provide foundational knowledge around drug endangered children. The training sessions will help address substance misuse and how professionals can help provide our children, families and community with help, hope and support.

Sessions include: DEC Awareness, DEC Approach, Marijuana: The Danger Remains, The Intersection of DEC and Human Trafficking. Tools, resources, and Q&A will be included throughout the two-day academy. Register here.
